As an illustrator, she was nominated for the Hans Christian Andersen Award in 1998 and 2000. Her daughter Hana is also an artist. Her mother, now nearly 93, is the illustrator Marlenka Stupica, who was also nominated twice.

Born in 1950, she died at age 51.

(Obituary - it doesn't say how she died, and it states her age incorrectly, but there's quite a bit about her artistic style)

You can translate it easily, but I couldn't copy and paste the translation, somehow.
