Trying to Identify name of Children's Book

I am looking for a children's book that I read my children years ago. I can not remember the title, but the little girl in the book was named Cricket. She received a ring from her grandmother and wore it to school. She lost the ring down a bathroom drain in her school. Her friend got the ring out of the drain by making a hook with a pipe cleaner and putting it down the drain.
